ForNAV is moving to Cloud-only pricing
We are pleased to introduce a new and simplified ForNAV Cloud-only pricing structure. Effective May 1st, 2024, all new ForNAV customers will only be able to buy from the Cloud price list. This results in a significantly simplified pricing structure with immediate benefits:
- It eliminates the need to pay separately for converting from “classic” (i.e. NAV 2009 or earlier).
- It includes Dual Use Rights, enabling deployment on-premise (OnPrem) or in a private cloud environment.
- All customers will be ready to move to Microsoft Cloud now or later if they start on-premise, without any change in licensing or pricing structure.
- It replaces the option to purchase a ForNAV Group License with the ability to buy ‘Additional production environments,’ which include additional databases when running OnPrem.
Immediate effects for existing customers:
- Existing ForNAV OnPrem customers on a one-time fee (perpetual) will not be affected by the new pricing structure. They can still benefit from the option to convert from a one-time fee to Cloud pricing. Read details here: https://www.fornav.com/news/fornav-license-transition-from-onprem-to-cloud/.
- Existing ForNAV OnPrem customers on subscription will not be affected by the new pricing structure. They will, however, have the option to move to Cloud pricing any time they want.
- Existing ForNAV Cloud customers will move to the new price list at their next renewal after May 1, 2024.
